I inherited hundreds of feet of 8 mm film from my father. It was a mess, splices broken, film dirty, etc. Legacy Digital through Scott Foster took everything and arranged it as I wished, providing me with both DVDs and .mp4 files for my own video editing. The service is superb. If you have lifelong memories on film, do yourself a favor -- don't take them to cheapo outfits where you will get washed out, mismatched results. Use these people. Generations to come will view your digital files and Legacy Digital can make the results of the highest quality. They are very pleasant folks and produce a great product. My highest recommendations to them from all of my family now enjoying the results.

Legacy Digital did an excellent job transferring all of my 8mm and 16mm film (total 7800 ft.) to my hard drive. The job was done professionally and on time. Scott and his team at Legacy Digital did an amazing job with my 45 year old 8mm films. After they clean the film they scan each frame and adjust for brightness and contrast. The film never runs through a projector. I ordered a Bluray and as files on a hard drive. I am a video editor by trade. I work on high end movie trailers and TV commercials. I know quality and professionalism and Legacy Digital has both.

Legacy Digital transferred my entire collection of family 8mm films, 4000+ feet on 60+ reels to HD video on an external hard drive. Scott and his staff were responsive throughout the entire process from providing me with an estimate, letting me know when they received my films (I'm on the east coast), and when the job was completed. The final product was amazing! Additionally, all of the films were returned on their original reels. The price of Legacy Digital was well worth it. Scott and Legacy Digital did an amazing job of converting 4,000+ feet of 1960's 8mm film on 45+ separate reels to Blu-ray DVD and an external hard drive. I'm only part of the way through the first of 3 DVD's and just what I've seen already is worth more than what I paid. I just has an old VHS of our ship's decommissioning given to me and I had no idea what to do with it. Legacy took care of that (DVD and MP4) and were very friendly and professional. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Fantastic job of X-ferring my old 8mm and Super 8 sound reels. Picture quality was greatly improved with the right amount of color, light, and darkness. Just a beautiful job and it's like visiting my family once again. Easy to recommend. Pricing also was very fair.

Blank areas on the VHS tapes were edited out, a service not done by many digital transfer companies. Families going through "treasures" when moving can be a huge undertaking, and ours was no exception. Upon finding some 8mm of my wife's grandparents, Legacy Digital did an outstanding job of saving these "treasures!" My entire family wants to thank you for bringing the reel to reels back to life on DVD. Although the tapes were old, the color and content were of the highest quality. Many family members lost photos in the California fires, so you can imagine the joy when they saw themselves on DVD. I am a video professional but was wondering if legacy digital could do a better transfer job than I could. Yes they can! These folks are great! audio and video quality was superb and the effort put toward transcribing the chicken scratch on the original tapes onto the new file names was awesome! my order consisted of 8 mm and hi 8 millimeter video that I was having trouble digitizing on my systems. super easy to work with. Fantastic, is the word I would use. My parents had taken 8mm movies of the family back in 1957 thru 1972. Had all the families, both sides, and friends, in most of the movies. Some of these old movies were 60 years old. Many hours of family movies, the old days. Scott, who I spoke to, the owner of Legacy Digital, assured me customer satisfaction was his goal. He spent some time explaining the process to digitize the film. Really, when was the last time you spoke to the owner of a business, on his cell phone. Long story short, the results of the film to digital were fantastic. The film is cleaned before the transfer begins. I showed my 90 year old aunt some of the film, she had tears in her eyes. She was about 28 years old when some were taken. She saw her dad who died in 1960, saw her son, died in 1986. If you have old or new film that needs transfer to digital, go with the best, Legacy Digital. Scott and his staff will take the time to transfer it correctly and to your satisfaction.

I had a lot of 8mm tapes I needed converted before they got the chance to deteriorate. After searching and searching I contacted Legacy Digital Productions. After a lot of hesitation and fear of losing tapes, I convinced my mom to finally have these tapes converted with assurance from Scott. Scott drove out to my house to personally pick up the 20+ tapes. When they were ready, Scott delivered them safely back. It's a truly priceless feeling to see your old memories played back. To hear the voices of those we've lost. I can't thank you guys enough. We also had some old films converted for my mom to DVD. I just discovered more tapes I will need converted and I will use this company again. They earned my trust.

Great job, very happy with the We are thrilled with the work you did to put our very old films and our never viewed yellow Kodak boxes of film from 40 years ago onto discs.
